| Copper head gaskets. You would use a copper head gasket to help seal up the head to barrel and to add more deck volume to lower the compression. If this combo will see a lot of rebuilds like a race motor. Than a copper head gasket can be used to lower the amount of times to resurface the heads. Each time you remove a pair of heads you should resurface them but with copper gaskets you can just replace the gasket instead. You can also use a copper head gasket to set your motor combo to run 0.0" deck then add a .04" copper gasket to get .04" total deck with most of the burn in the chamber.
